About GuessTheRide

GuessTheRide is a free car-recognition game. You name the car from a photograph, on your own each day or against another player. It is built for people who can tell an E46 from an E92 at a glance, and for everybody who would like to learn.

Who makes it

GuessTheRide is made and run by one person, Filip Terzić, in Belgrade, Serbia. There is no advertising on it, and the game is kept simple on purpose: the daily puzzles need no account, and the only things kept about the people who play are described in the privacy policy. To see how a puzzle works, read how to play.

Where the photographs come from

Every photograph comes from Wikimedia Commons, under a licence that allows it to be used in a game like this one. In play they are cropped and their colours are shifted, and the original of each is linked from its credit. Each photograph is credited to the person who took it on the photograph credits pages, sorted by marque.

If you took one of the photographs and would like it credited differently, or taken out of the game, write to the address below and it will be dealt with by a person.

GuessTheRide is not affiliated with or endorsed by any car manufacturer. The names, models and badges belong to their owners, and appear here only because the game is about recognising the cars.
